On the face of it, the very idea of me being a transvestite is fairly ridiculous. I'm 6' 2" with a large build and look like an average, slightly overweight, early thirties bloke in glasses. As far as I know nobody in my vanilla life knows or suspects that I'm a tranny and I reckon I'd be well down the list if somebody told them there was a secret crossdresser in their life. But put me in feminine clothes, make-up, wig, lingerie and heels and I look a different person to how you'd expect. I'm not convincing but I look and feel feminine when dressed. In short, I feel I look more attractive as a tranny than I do as a guy and judging by the number of men who message me telling me how sexy and pretty I look, I must be doing something right. I'm slightly envious of skinny, convincing transvestites but at the same time I think its more fun not being convincing. I find the exaggerated femininity of other TVs very arousing and looking very convincing kind of detracts from that. I might as well be looking at a real girl. Gender is socially constructed not biologically determined and the fact that a man like me can dress like a caricature of femininity and not look totally laughable proves that.
